Citizen Supply is a curated marketplace focused on showcasing artisans and their unique products, creating an amazing community. Their website needed an update to reflect these values.

Goals:

  1. Provide the user with the maker‘s stories through extensive product details.

  2. Quickly search or filter through products

  3. Personalized content and suggested makers

  4. Ability to save products for later for easy purchasing

Personas were created to validate different user experiences and the goals established for the realignment of Citizen Supply. After establishing Citizen Supply’s ideal customers and needs, I developed style tiles to determine the website realignment's overall visual tone and design direction.

The re-aligned Citizen Supply Home page was designed to quickly cover key factors of the company, including its mission statement, events, and how to work together as a maker, all while targeting the users with popular items and brands to inspire their shopping.

The New Arrivals page was designed to showcase their content, which their current website severely lacks. On the New Arrivals page, users can view various products based on filter categories or discover personalized selections based on likes and previous purchases.

The product details page gives the users a much more in-depth view of the product, breaking down what makes it unique, from its composition to how to take care of it. The user also can learn about the maker and what makes them unique enough to be featured in Citizen Supply. Suggested pieces to complete the look, similar brands, and other shopping categories are advised to avoid singularity and keep the user moving throughout the site.
