The Art of the Gift
For its 2024 holiday collection, UNWRP sought original artwork from a select group of artists to expand its gifting assortment with fun, unique giftwrap. I was selected as a featured artist to develop a collection of surface designs for both traditional wrapping paper and reusable fabric wraps. The challenge was to create a collection of artwork true to my visual identity that could translate seamlessly across different materials, scales, and applications, while remaining versatile and distinctly personal for any celebratory occasion.

Pattern Design
When developing my collection, I brought together some of my most recognizable graphic motifs, squiggles, with new iterations created specifically for the collaboration. Green became a common thread across the three designs, creating a sense of cohesion while allowing each pattern to have its own personality and point of view. Each wrap was designed to feel like a complete piece of artwork when viewed flat, while also considering the smaller moments of play that happen once the paper is folded, wrapped, and given. These details and unexpected pattern placements were intentionally built into the compositions, creating a more playful experience from artwork to finished gift.

My designs were featured at the 2024 CultureCon bloom bar in collaboration with Shea Moisture and She Did That!
Guests were invited to create flower bouquets using wrapping paper to tie them together. By giving women their flowers, they celebrated women's power, bonds, and friendships.
