SolaWave is a rapidly growing beauty startup based in Los Angeles. As the Lead designer, I joined the SolaWave team to offer my expertise, bring their brand to life, and establish consistency.

I worked closely with the SolaWave founders to position them strategically and develop their visual and tonal brand identity.

Developing a graphic language and custom iconography using shapes inspired by SolaWave’s oval design helped establish consistency across all brand touchpoints, from social media to packaging.

Graphic Language

While designing the new visual language, I pitched a new brand voice for SolaWave. The goal was to create a confident, approachable, and concise voice that could reach a broad customer base and stand out in the scientific skincare industry.

Brand Voice

Establishing a visual direction that was sophisticated yet soft. The art direction focused on natural light in a comfortable setting, drawing attention to the products and how they would seamlessly integrate into anyone’s skincare routine.
