ATL Ice Cream Festival

The Atlanta Ice Cream Festival Re-design was inspired by the idea of community. The new logo has a much larger emphasis on the city of Atlanta. The abbreviation, ATL is familiar yet playful and is emphasized by the A becoming the ice cream cone.

The use of a rounded san-serif was chosen for its comfortable stability in relation to the rounded ice cream icon. A variety of patterns were also designed as supplementary elements and allude to the aesthetic of ice cream flavors and toppings, creating a playful, thoughtful system.
